Why won't my computer print using my hp printer?

i have in stall the printer and the icons are on my desktop but if i try to print a document it always sends me to microsoft onenote. then it takes forever. i used to have iot all working but i had to get my computer reprogrammed and well now i just can't get it together can anyone tell me why and help me get back to where i can printWhy won't my computer print using my hp printer?
1. Go to your control panel


2. open up printers and faxes


3. right click on the printer you want to print to and click, ';set as default';


4. try to print





If you have everything set up correctly this should fix your problem. If you don't want to do this, when you go to print a document, there is the select printer tab on the top of the print menu, click it and pick your printer. It sounds like One Note is your default printer setup.





So this should do the trick, if there is no HP printer or anything like that in your printers panel, you should check the HP website for drivers or additional software!

go to HP.com printers and fax then type in your printer and look for updated files
