My printer hp deskjet D1460 solution center wont open?

i have vista and the hp solution center wont open for me 2 check the ink levels and configure print lines it just wont open it always say no hp devises detected but it still prints my documents and it is already updated why is that and how do fix itMy printer hp deskjet D1460 solution center wont open?
Try going to HP's website and downloading the ';Full Feature'; option. If you had the ';Solution Center'; from the ';first drivers'; then just ';downloaded the ';drivers'; and not the full software that might be causing the conflict. Make sure you remove the printer in ';Add/Remove Programs'; before installing the new software.
