My HP D5069 Photosmart Printer ink refills?

How do I change or replace the ink in my HP Photosmart D5069? I don''t even see a ink cartridge. I know where to look but I don't see any place for a catridge and the one that I bought that is compatible for this model isn't fitting. I never took one out but I still can't find anything helpful. It is not recommended by refilling ink cartridges this is the reasons why

-It makes photos dull and sometimes you cant even see the photo properly

-Sometimes the printer gets confused and thinks there is no ink instead of full of ink

- It sometimes prints something completly wrong or it will keep printing test pages numerates times.

Here's how to install replacement print cartridges.

Step one: Remove the print cartridges

1.

Make sure that the printer is on. If the Power button is not lit, press the Power button to turn on the printer.

2.

Raise the Main printer cover.

3.

Pull the print cartridge that you want to replace out of its slot toward you.

*

The black print cartridge is located in the slot on the right.

*

The tri-color print cartridge is located in the slot on the left.

Step two: Install the new print cartridges

1.

Pull the pink tab to remove the clear tape from the first print cartridge.

CAUTION: Do not touch or remove the ink nozzles or copper-colored contacts.

2.

Hold the print cartridge so the copper-colored contacts go into the printer first, and then slide the cartridge into the appropriate slot. Push the cartridge firmly until it snaps in place.

CAUTION: To avoid print carriage jams, make sure the print cartridge snaps securely into place as you insert it.

3.

If replacing both print cartridges, repeat this process with the second print cartridge.

NOTE: When installing print cartridges, use the symbols on the cartridge and cartridge slot to match up cartridge types.

4.

Lower the Main cover.

Step three: Align the print cartridges

If you are installing a new print cartridge, make sure that there is paper loaded in the tray, as the printer will automatically print a cartridge alignment page to confirm that the alignment was successful. This may take a few minutes.

Check marks on the alignment page verify that the print cartridge is installed correctly and functioning properly.
