How do I stop the printer from printing(HP Deskjet 640c) or delete its command to print; it just won't stop..?

after clicking the mouse a number of times to get it going and have changed the no. of copies to 1; it just won't stop until i just turn it off. But, when I turn it back on to print something it continues from where it left off. How do you delete previous commands. I know that each mouse click = 1 copy, right? How do I stop the printer from printing(HP Deskjet 640c) or delete its command to print; it just won't stop..?
Hi,

Usually when the computer is dumping prints to the printer there should be a printer icon on the bottom right of the task bar.

Double click on that and you will see the print queue.

In there you can cancel the prints in the queue.

Another quick trick is turn the printer off as you have done and wait for the error message to come up at that point you can cancel the print.

Also remove the paper from the paper tray and when it complains of no paper then you can cancel the print.

there is a icon on the task bar, double click it and right click and cancel printing. The reason it keeps on printing is the amount of times you click it to print as everytime you click it, it sends it to the printer.
You can right click on the printer icon in the task bar. Open the printer and cancel the print job. The printer itself will continue to print as many pages as it has in memory unless you cancel the job in the printer.
