Any lightweight software for scanning and image editing for hp printers?

Hi i've HP PSC (print scan and copy) 1315 printer i rarely use the software that came along with the cd...i want to use any alternative lightweight software for basic functionalities i.e scanning and image editing instead of bulky hp image zone and office jet which together occupies around 500 mb on my 40gb hdd which has only few gb's of free spaceAny lightweight software for scanning and image editing for hp printers?

well, there is this small integrated tool from microsoft office, just go to start--%26gt;programs--%26gt;microsot office--%26gt;microsoft office tools--%26gt;microsoft document scanning. (if you have such thing)


also, if you have ACDSee image viewer, it has a built in scanner management, try it (called ';Acquire';)





i dont know, but i think ';IrfanView'; suports scanning, just search for it (as far as i know, its free)
