I am trying to install an HP printer onto vista, I looked for a driver on HPs site. What can I do?

The printer is an HP PSC 1210v all in one printer. I had a cd but it gets to about 94% completed and then an error sign pops up. I have tried to install it many times and I have also looked on HP's website for the software, but I can't find it. I also emailed HP asking them about it, but I haven't gotten a response back. The site also says that if I plug the printer in, it will work, but it doesn't. Is there anything that I can do?I am trying to install an HP printer onto vista, I looked for a driver on HPs site. Go to contol panel, remove the software you installed for this printer - ALL OF IT.

Then go into the printers folder and hit the Install new printer wizard icon. Follow the instructions on the dialog boxes and you should be running in no time. Do not connect your printer until after you are instructed to.
