Hi, I Know someone who has a hp printer and it is not working it keeps printing out this code.?

I seriously doubt it is printing foreign language. The garbled print just means something has gone awry.

1. The simplest fix is to just turn the power totally off to the printer, reboot your computer, and then turn the printer back on.

2. If (1) above doesn't do it then try uninstalling the printer's driver and re-installing it

3. If neither (1) nor (2) fixes it then check to make sure the printer cable is pushed tightly into the back of the CPU as well as the back of the printer

4. If neither (1), (2), nor (3) fixes it then purchase a new printer cable.

5. If neither of the above recommendations do it then the printer has friedHi, I Know someone who has a hp printer and it is not working it keeps printing out this code.?
I would unplug the printer and wait a few minutes, plug it back in and try a test page. If that does not work then uninstall the printer drivers/software and reboot (shut down completely) , then restart, reinstall the printer software and run a test page again. If that does not work then I would get a book on how to read Chinese until another printer is purchased. Just kidding. Could always e-mail HP. They usually help alot more when you e-mail rather than call even if the warranty is up.

Good luck, I have had weird things happen with the newer HP printers.Hi, I Know someone who has a hp printer and it is not working it keeps printing out this code.?
Sounds like 1 of 2 things.

This ';code'; is garbage or someone inadvertently changed the language.

Tell your friend to:

1) go to the manufacturer's website %26amp; download the drivers.

2) unistall the printer through device manager.

3) Restart the pc.

That should resolve the issue.
I suspect it's not a code, but rubbish charactors. How is the Printer attached to the PC ?

Also Completly remove the Printer drivers, and reinstall.

We need more info to help you.
Printers are just plain evil! They are poorly designed and break down every 5 minutes. Just throw it away and and use pen and paper.
Ah, it must be an invisible code then, written in invisible ink!

Kindly enlighten us as to what it is.
Try uninstalling and reinstalling.
