The symbol looks like a jagged lighting bolt and the orange light next to it is lit. The printer was working great earlier in the day but doesn't print now. The owner's manual was lost a long time ago (it's a big office and when I started, it was already lost) and the toll free 800 number for HP doesn't provide support. Either out of paper or a paper jam. Open the top cover, remove the toner and see if any paper is stuck. Also, pull out the paper drawer from the bottom and make sure there is no paper stuck.What does this warning light mean (on an HP MP6 Laserjet printer)?
the jagged sign means , you got a jammed paper or no toner /no paper, try to locate the stuck up paper on your feeder or exit roller on the fuser side, usually there is a small paper torn up left, when user pull out manually the jammed paper inside the printer.

HP All-in-ones are not set up to work on a network or wireless network. Sounds like what you need is a USB extension cable. They sell them up to 16 feet in length (USB won't normally work over longer distances than that.) If you're near the doorway or can drill a hole in the wall, that's your solution.

Make sure the driver is up to date, do not use the install CD/DVD that came with your printer as that is usually outdated, you should download drivers from HP's support site. Also, make sure that you have installed the correct driver for your OS. For example, do not install a Windows XP driver on Windows Vista, and do not install a Windows Vista driver on XP (unless the description for the driver has stated that it can be used on both systems). Also, you might want to make sure that the printer is connected properly to the computer, and after you install the new driver you might want to restart your computer.

well i like it i have one I've used it and it works fine for me. also i would say i like it because it has separate ink cartridges for color and black. so it saves a bit on buying ink. but its not as good as the multi colored ones that have each particular color in a different cartridge but i like this one the price isn't bad and mine has worked just fine and the only real problem I've had is sometimes it gets jammed but alls you must do is hit the cancel button and it goes on printing usually just fine. and the ink's not to expensive so i yes i would recommend it for average printing but its not a printer made to print 2 billion pieces of paper in a day. also it prints fast enough for me. a piece of paper takes 10 seconds for text maybe a little longer but i think the longest its taken is maybe 30 seconds for a full color and defined page. its not bad for any home use and i like it.www.myspaces.com
